Eau D'Artifice
I believe that Eau D'Artifice was one of the most hauntingly beautiful films we've seen. I love baroque music of this time, particularly because of its ability to convey overwhelming emotion though it is considerably structured and rigid. The film reminded me of this. It was incredibly beautiful and meditative to sit through. The repetition was pleasant and welcome; it simply extended the journey of quiet introspection. Though some may not appreciate the understated beauty of this film, it was present to me. The way the light reflected off the fountain in so many different ways was beautiful, and just watching water in motion in general was a terrific personal exploration I thought it was a lovely and placid way to end the night.
