Film
The "toys" in the Neke's collection were very interesting. They reveal a different time and I find it quite funny that even 100+ years ago there were perverts that got a kick from a couple of cartoon breasts. Also, I thought it was really cool how people paid hard earned money to watch mundane activities, for example, a train arriving at a station. But then I realized that people still watch things like that, for example, the Real World. The Real World, for those who don't know (Dr. Langston), is a show about college aged people "living" in a house and people enjoy watching it for whatever reason. When I make connection between the people now and the people then suddenly it is not so cool. In any way, I was extremely amused by the shadow puppets and pop-up books their ingenuity and overall practicality made them the ideal "media".
